Our Mission
The Athena Alumni Network exists to strengthen the lifelong bond between Athena Global Schools and its graduates. We believe that the relationship between a school and its students doesn't end at graduation — it evolves into something richer: a community of shared values, mutual support, and collective pride.
Our network connects alumni across three branches and multiple graduating batches, creating a platform where former students can reconnect with classmates, mentor the next generation, share their professional journeys, and give back to the school that shaped them.
Our Journey
Athena Global School, Chidambaram Founded
A G Chandrashekar establishes the first Athena campus in Chidambaram with a CBSE curriculum, driven by a vision of accessible, quality education rooted in Indian values.
First Graduating Batch
The earliest students complete their schooling at Chidambaram. Many go on to pursue engineering, medicine, and commerce at universities across Tamil Nadu.
Athena Global School, Chengalpattu Opens
The second Athena campus launches in Chengalpattu, serving the rapidly developing suburbs south of Chennai with the same CBSE standard.
Athena Cambridge International School, Chennai
The third campus opens in Chennai offering the Cambridge International curriculum, adding a global dimension to the Athena family.
Alumni Begin Their Careers
The first Chidambaram batches complete higher education and enter professional life across India and abroad. The need for a formal alumni network becomes clear.
Athena Alumni Network Launches
The alumni portal goes live, uniting graduates from all three branches under one digital community. A new chapter begins.

When I founded Athena Global School in Chidambaram in 2012, I had a simple belief: every child deserves an education that prepares them not just for exams, but for life. Today, as I see our earliest students building careers, starting families, and making their mark on the world, that belief has only grown stronger.
